Nancy Sizer

Nancy Sizer is a Lecturer of Education at Harvard University. A high school teacher for twenty years in both public and independent schools, she has published texts for secondary schools in Chinese history and moral education.

She is the author of Crossing the Stage, an in depth study of the senior year in high school, co-author (with her husband Ted Sizer) of The Students are Watching, and co-author (with Ted Sizer and Deborah Meier) of Keeping School. She serves as director of the Sizer Teacher Center and co-founded as well as served as co-principal of the Francis Parker Charter School in Devens, MA.
